DeviceLogix Design for Numatics School

This 1-day (8-hour) “hands-on” class is intended for the electrician, electrical engineer, maintenance and controls personnel responsible for programming and/or maintaining equipment built for every customer location with Numatics valve manifolds with integrated DeviceLogix control technology. The attending student should have strong computer navigation skills and intend to support their own program designs. The objective of this class will be to provide each student with the opportunity to learn a programming methodology with the Numatics’ DeviceLogix system using RS NetWorx software and Numatics G2-2 technology, as well as troubleshooting techniques, which take advantage of the integrated diagnostic capability of this technology. Each student will demonstrate his or her understanding by writing a program using the Boolean logic function blocks, downloading the program into a G2-2 DeviceLogix node and operate the manifold detached from the programming computer in stand-alone / autonomous mode.

Pre-Requisites:
  • Students attending the DeviceLogix programming training should have a general competency and comfort with pneumatic design principles.
  • A thorough understanding of computer and Windows navigational skills.
  • Each student must bring his/her own laptop computer (with a 9-pin sub-D serial port preferred) and an installed copy of the RS NetWorx for DeviceNet (Ver. 3.2 or greater) programming software.
Cost:
$3,750.00/class (up to 6 students per class maximum). Includes instructional fees, training manual, and all training materials. If travel is required, additional travel related expenses would apply. If two classes are paid for on one P.O., then a $250/class discount will be given for a total of $7,000.00 for two classes (+ travel expenses).
